State Fair Projects Have Returned!
Please stop by the Extension Office to pick up your project. Projects will be held until the Recognition Banquet in November. After that, projects, ribbons and pins will be discarded.

The New Arena
Have you seen the new arena? Our latest addition to the 4-H Community Park is located toward the rear of the park. Simply follow the new gravel road and you will drive past the new arena. The arena was built by volunteers, donations and funds from the Young Riders Horse and Pony Club and the 4-H Council.
Our first event to take place at the arena was the Young Riders 4-H Completion Show.
Please join us on Saturday, September 15 for the Contesting Show hosted by Natalie Woolems. See enclosed flier for details.

The next Junior Leader meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 2 at 5 pm in the Extension Office.
The Junior Leaders club is open to any 4-H member who is in the 7th grade or higher. Even if you were not signed up for Junior Leaders last year you can still come to the meetings now!
If you want to join but cannot make the next meeting, please call 338-2352 and ask for Sharon.
We will be talking about fundraisers and fieldtrips.

4-H Recognition Banquet
Sunday, November 11, 2007
3 pm in the Clover Room
All 4-H members and their families are invited to attend the Annual Recognition Banquet. The Banquet is sponsored by the 4-H Council in celebration of the hard work and dedication of all our 4-H members. The Banquet will be held on Sunday, November 11, 2007 at 3 pm in the Clover Room. We will be serving cake and ice cream.
4-H License Plate
You can now get the clover license plate at the license bureau! Starting in 2007, all you will need to do is walk into the license branch and ask for the 4-H plate. You will not need pre-authorization after January 1. The plate will cost $25 which goes towards the Indiana 4-H Foundation.
But you don't have to wait until next year to purchase the 4-H plate! Until the New Year, you need to get a pre-authorization form before you can buy the plate. contact the Extension Office for details!
