Objectives
1. Expand community relations by widening the circle of influence and making our programs available to a wide diverse audience through the leveraging of resources and partnerships with other youth and adult leadership agencies.
2. Increase diversity and pluralism of leaders by becoming the convener for leadership development programs and services in Marion County and offering educational programs to diverse constituencies to increase the pool of volunteer leaders within our youth and adult groups.
3. Enhance leadership development by providing experiences and training opportunities for youth and adults and creating opportunities for interaction among diverse groups to foster understanding and to develop skills necessary for living and thriving in a multi-ethnic, multicultural society.
4. Enhance the pool of Extension Volunteers to increase the outreach of Extension Programs by developing an interdepartmental system to recruit, train, manage, recognize and retain a diverse volunteer base by creating a central data base of volunteer leaders and providing the necessary training opportunities and experiences to support extension and communitywide programs.
