The second annual Clay County Popcorn Recipe Contest, Sponsored by the Clay County Extension Office will be held during this year's 2009 Clay County Popcorn Festival! All entries must be postmarked by Monday, September 28th or recieved at the Clay County Extension Office by Wednesday, September 30th. The finished product and recipe is due October 4th between 10:00 a.m. and noon to the Clay Co. Extension Booth. Forms are available at the Clay County Extension Office or on the web site under Events/Registration forms.

Clay County Popcorn Festival 2009 Scarecrow Contest. Deadline for Scarecrow entries is Monday, September 28th to the Clay County Extension Office. Scarecrows are to be delivered to our booth on Saturday, October 4th between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 am. Contest rules and form are available at the Clay County Extension Office or on the web site under Events/Registration forms.

Holiday Cards for Hoosier Heroes

Let's send our good wishes in cards and letters to our Indiana soldiers serving our country! So write you letters or cards today! Let's beat last years record of 500 by sending 1,000. Drop them by the Extension Office and we will show our Hoosier troops that Clay County is proud of their sacrifice and is thinking of them this holiday season.
