Video Clip

You can download a video clip of a flash fire that erupted Feb. 12, 2004, as a woman (who had gained a healthy dose of static electricity by returning to her car for a few minutes) touched the gas pump nozzle, which had shut off. She pulled the nozzle out of the fill pipe on her car, but because it had shut off, she was not injured and there was no damage to her car.

You will need Windows Media Player to view the video. A free download is available at http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/download/
