Marion County 4-H Medals are a way to recognize the achievements of 4-H members in club and project work.
Marion County 4-H Achieving Standards of Excellence is a program to recognize outstanding work by individual 4-H members and 4-H clubs.
Nominate 4-H volunteers to receive recognition for their contributions to the Marion County 4-H program.
This is the form for 4-H members and/or volunteers to complete if they would like to be considered for a scholarship to a 4-H event or training. If approved, the Marion County 4-H Council will reimburse 50% of the program fee after the individual attends the event. More than 50% or prepay may be decided upon if there is a finical need. Events can include, but are not limited to: 4-H Congress, Citizenship Washington Focus, Area VI Judges and Leaders Clinic, 4-H Round Up.
As of the 2017-2018 4-H year Indiana 4-H will no longer offer materials for the microwave foods project. It was decided that Marion County 4-H would continue to offer microwave foods at the county level. Project manuals are still available at the county office. The 4-H advisory board will have a committee to come up with local materials as our supply of project manuals is used up. Please contact the office if you are interested in being part of this committee.
Recently there have been some questions about Tax Exempt Status for 4-H Clubs with regard to State Sales Tax. Below is the official policy Purdue 4-H From Purdue 4-H Policy and Procedures Manual: Tax exempt status of 4-H Units/Clubs 1. In August 2013, Purdue University was granted a Group Exemption Number (GEN), 5924, by the IRS which provides federal tax exemption status to the 4-H Clubs and 4-H Affiliates in Indiana which have agreed to be under Purdue University's general supervision
