Livestock information for the Franklin County 4-H Program and Fair.
All livestock members are expected to help with barn clean up and set up prior to the fair and clean up and tear down after the fair.
2019: Livestock Check in is Sunday, July 14, Sheep and Goats are 2-4 PM, all others are 5-8 PM.
ANIMAL AFFIDAVITS: ALL MARKET ANIMALS in the beef, goats, sheep, and swine projects must have an animal affidavit at check in. These are located under the related files section on this page. You will need one form for each species, and all family members living in the same household (i.e. siblings) can be listed on the same form. The county form does not need to be notarized.
Please note, this is a county only form, there is a different form for the Indiana State Fair.
All hogs will be tagged and weighed at check in. Market barrows weighing less than 200 pounds will be sent home. Members must know at check in if they are selling to the packer.
REMINDER TO ALL LIVESTOCK EXHIBITORS: YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CARE OF YOUR ANIMALS UNTIL THEY LEAVE THE FAIRGROUNDS.
