Knox County Newsletter March-April 2026
Purdue Extension Knox County 2026 Newsletter, featuring news in all of our program areas. Learn our latest updates from our extension educators. Here is one story that is featured in our newsletter.
We have seen a glimpse of spring and I can tell you I am ready for it to arrive. I think I mention that spring is my favorite time of year every year so I am going to mention it again for good measure. As weather warms, I enjoy doing hand-on programming outside. This programming always pumps me up to see people getting engaged with gardening, learning how to scout fields, or learning about the natural resources around them.
There are many 4-H deadlines, livestock tagging dates, camp, and Quality Indiana 4-H Livestock Care programs coming up so make sure to look inside for details.
Take a look at the Health & Human Sciences section for information on nutrition fads, food safety, and mental health programs coming up in the next quarter.
If you have 4-H, health, nutrition, food safety, agriculture, natural resource, or gardening questions feel free to call us at 812-882-3509.
