This year's Area 2 Junior Leader Retreat will be held on November 4 & 5, 2022 at Pyoca Camp and Retreat Center in Brownstown, IN. Arrival time will be 5:30pm on Friday and Departure will be on Saturday at 3:30pm.

Registration

Registration will open soon through 4HOnline and is due by October 20. Visit http://v2.4honline.com to register. For step by step instructions, open the document below. You will be able to complete payment using credit card in 4HOnline or paying with cash or check in your local Extension Office (or by mail). 

To participate in some of the activities, you will need to complete the Country Lake Retreat Release form found HERE. You must upload this into 4HOnline or be sure to bring it with you the day of the event. You cannot participate if we do not have this on file. 

Agenda 

We will be discussing leadership tools and tricks to take your Junior Leader program and your leadership skills to the next level!

The agenda topics for the day include:

  • Ice Breakers
  • Leadership Games
  • Challenge Course
  • Service Project
  • Health Wheel
  • County Sharing/ Planning
  • Free time to get to know other teens from across the area
  • Meals, Snacks, and Campfire!

We will be collecting Animal Care donations for local humane societies. Please bring items like: dog/cat toys, collars of varying sizes, cat litter, treats, etc.

Safety Attire

To comply with our safety plan, participants should:

  • Dress weather appropriate. We will be outside as much as possible. Be sure to wear closed toe shoes that are comfortable for walking around all day.

We will have a packing list coming soon, because this is an overnight event and you don't want to forget your bedding!
