The Washington County Tourism Commission is hosting the annual Pumpkin Walk on Saturday, October 25, 2025. Pumpkins for the event will be available at the YMCA parking lot on Wednesday, October 22, 2025 after 3:00 pm until 3:00 pm on Friday, October 24, 2025. Pumpkins are free. Decorated pumpkins should be entered on Saturday, October 25, 2025 from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm at The Depot parking lot located at 206 S. College Street in Salem. When entering pumpkins, bring the following information on a piece of paper: name, complete mailing address, phone number, and category. Categories are: preschool, K-2nd grade, 3rd – 5th grade, middle school, high school, and adult. Information will be used for a drawing in each category. The drawing is at 3:00 pm on Saturday, October 25, 2025. Winners will be notified by the Tourism Commission. Pumpkins will be displayed around the Museum Village from 4:00-8:00 pm on Saturday, October 25, 2025. Everyone is invited to participate. The annual Boo Bash Trick or Treating at the museum is also on Saturday, October 5:00-7:00 pm.
