This free three part series is designed to be an informal introduction to management tools and techniques to help landowners get the most from their wooded acreage. Whether you have one or a hundred wooded acres this program should help you make the best decisions to meet your goals.
Attend one or all! Each session will be a “walk and talk” format to allow participants hands-on experience in a beautiful and natural learning environment. Questions are encouraged!

Considerations for participants:
While these sessions will be held in the paths and open areas in Thornwood Preserve, this is a natural environment with some associated inherent risks.
Participants are encouraged to dress for an outdoor environment and the weather of the day.
Programs will be held on time, rain or shine unless active lightning - dress accordingly.
