Farm Management Team

What We Do

The Farm Management Team works to support the development and dissemination of resources and information relevant to agribusinesses and farms through events and resources which highlight up-to-date information for Indiana’s agricultural industry.  They assist agribusiness and farm families in dealing with stress related to volatile markets and unusual weather.

The Farm Management Team is comprised of faculty from the Agricultural Economics department and ANR Extension.  These individuals contribute to Purdue Extension Programs such as the succession planning and land leasing.

Members communicate with clientele via a variety of resources including extension publications, press releases, and podcasts.  This ANR team is challenged with meeting the needs of a diverse group of stakeholders through a variety of media and methods as they address economic issues in business planning, operational management, strategic decision making, marketing, business transition and stress.
