Hemp Research and Organic Grain Transition Field Day - Noble Organic Grains

This field day, co-hosted by Purdue Extension-Organic Agriculture and Ohio Ecological Food and Farm Association (OEFFA), will provide an overview of Noble Organic Grains, owned and managed by Joel and Kim Mecklenburg, including their organic transition strategy, organic crop rotation, and markets.  Guests will have the opportunity to see and learn about organic seed corn production, double crop soybeans, equipment used to interseed clover into soybeans, and a hemp grain research plot.

Directions: The farm address listed above is marked correctly in Google Maps.  From I-69, travel west on Rte. 6.  Pass Kendallville and Brimfield and turn right (north) on Baseline Rd. Turn left (west) on W 900 N. Look for the barn, house, and shed with red-orange roofing on the north side of the road.
