Minor Safety Training

Operating Procedures for Programs Involving Minors

ALL Adult Volunteers MUST be up to date with their Minor Safety Training. As representatives of Purdue University, both paid staff and volunteers, we all have the responsibility to ensure the well-being of the youth in our programs. The training must be renewed every 24 months. To take this training online, go to puext.in/VolTrain19_20. There will also be a in-person training available, but it must be completed in order for one to be an approved volunteer.

The next In Person Youth Safety Training will be January 14th at the Harrison County Extension Office. Call Rebecca at (812)738-4236 with any questions.

Volunteer Training Series

February 4th at 6:30 PM at the Extension Office- Healthy Living with guest speakers: 4-H Youth Development Educators Katie Whiteford and Megan Voyles
