Do you know where your money goes? Most of us don’t. Where Does Your Money Go is a 2-part program designed to help you better understand how you spend your money through hands-on activities.
Session 1
Objective:
- Understand how current money-management practices affect financial security
- Establish financial management practices that promote financial stability
- Adopt new habits that create personal financial stability
Topics covered:
- Importance of developing a Spending-Savings Plan
- Identify spending leaks in our daily lives
- Identifying needs vs. wants
- How to properly track expenses
- Establishing written financial goals
Session 2
Objective:
- Increase knowledge of money-management practices that can lead to financial control
- Adopt new habits that create personal financial stability
- Establish financial management practices that promote financial stability
Topics covered:
- Explore how spending habits, attitudes, and values influence financial decisions
- Tracking actual expenses since Session 1
- Planning for occasional expenses
- Developing a personal spending-savings plan
