4-H Utility Goat Project

Using your meat or dairy goats, learn about working skills such as pulling a cart or wearing a pack. You will also participate in a competition at the fair.

- Deadline for Utility Goat enrollment paperwork to Extension Office
- Deadline for Lease Agreements to Extension Office
- Deadline for Livestock Location Forms (Online Form)

Reminders:

Each 4-H member is encouraged to turn in a record sheet and worksheet
To complete the project without exhibiting you must turn in a no-exhibit record sheet
Grade is based on the grade you were in when you enrolled in 4-H for the current year
Answers to the worksheet are found in the Goat Resource Manual (Ohio State) (one resource manual is provided per family the first year a family member takes a Goat Project)
If you exhibit an animal poster project it is encouraged to complete the General 4-H Record Sheet and turn it in at judging check-in
