Community Clubs are general project clubs.  County Clubs are usually specific to a project. Members may choose to be part of a club based on where they meet, projects they are interested in or where they already have friends.  

All Mini 4-H members (K-2) are part of the Johnson County Mini 4-H Clovers.

Our club helps youth and families discover the many opportunities of 4-H. With no single focus, members can explore projects that fit their passions while learning new skills, serving their community, and growing together.

The Hoosier Hotshots 4-H Club is all about hands-on creativity and community spirit. Our members explore a wide range of projects—from foods and sewing to arts, crafts, and photography—guided by leaders who judge at county fairs and the Indiana State Fair. We host workshops throughout the year to help you master new skills and prepare award-winning projects. Beyond the fairgrounds, we make a difference through meaningful service projects like collecting pajamas for foster children and assembling Birthday Boxes for local families in need.

Serving the Indian Creek school area for nearly 40 years, our club is proud to be a kid-led 4-H community where learning and leadership grow side by side.

We focus on teaching kids how to prepare, execute, and participate in meetings while building confidence, teamwork, and responsibility. Most importantly, we make sure they have fun while learning and creating memories that last a lifetime.

Tractor club is for members in the Tractor Operator, Lawn and Garden Operator and Zero-Turn Mower Operator projects.  The club typically only meets for a short time in June & July to set up and practice the driving courses for the County Tractor Driving Contest.

Shooting Sports Club is required for those in the Shooting Sports project.  Members complete the Indiana Hunter Safety Education program.  The program goal is to teach the safe use of archery and firearm equipment.

Do you like being outdoors, learning new skills, and spending time with great people? Our Johnson County Sportfishing Club is all about that. Our philosophy is that you learn by doing so what better way to learn casting, knot-tying, and fish identification than by actually fishing! Whether you're a beginner or already love fishing, you'll learn something new—and have a blast doing it. Come join us and see what you can catch—on the line and in life!

The Johnson County Dairy Beef 4-H Club is a great place for anyone interested in creating friendships and learning new skills related to the raising, feeding, and showing of Dairy Beef Cattle in Johnson County. We pride ourselves on spending time each meeting learning necessary skills related to raising dairy beef, such as veterinary care, grooming and fitting, and showmanship skills! We would love to have you join us!

A bunch of horse loving kids working together to do community service activities, fundraisers, and learn more about our horses and ourselves. We bring in monthly guest speakers to meetings and have clinics in the summer to further expand our knowledge of the horse industry.

This club is for 4-H members in grades 7 - 12.  Club activities including Leadership, Community Service and much more.  Members must belong to one other 4-H Club and complete at least one other 4-H project.  A special Junior Leader Record Sheet is due August 1 that awards points for participation and activities.

Mini 4-H members are all a member of the Mini 4-H Clovers club.  All meetings are optional as the Mini 4-H projects are designed to be completed at home with the help of a caring adult.  Mini 4-H Clovers start the year with a parent meeting in January to pick up project manuals and ask questions.  Then they offer about three other meetings & activities every other month before fair.  This year they had a float in the fair parade.

Dog Lovers Wanted - What could be better then spending time working with your 4 legged best buddy. Want to learn more about your dog while you have fun doing it, Dog Club is here for you.

Those wishing to show a dog in Johnson County 4-H are required to be a member of Paw Pounders.  No new members are accepted after March 1 for safety reasons.

Meeting/Location:  Meets weekly on Mondays at 6 pm January to July.  Planned location is Herring Hall January - April, then will move to Fitzpatrick Hall until Fair.
