Member Enrollment FAQ
Whichever one you want! Although the majority of the 4-H clubs in St. Joseph County are named by township, 4-H members are not required to join their township club. Rather, members are free to choose which club they would like to join. Each club has a club coordinator who is responsible for setting up club meeting times and locations.

The 4-H Program costs $20 per member. Mini 4-H is free.

Checks should be made out to "Purdue CES Education Fund – St. Joseph County"
4-H members can sign up for as many projects as they want to! Most projects have suggested age/grade levels attached to them with project guidelines.

Volunteer Enrollment FAQ
There are three types of volunteers in St. Joseph County 4-H, and there can be overlap between them.
Every volunteer signing up for 4-H on 4-H Online will sign up as a PROJECT VOLUNTEER.
If you are a club leader/assistant club leader (i.e. Greene Township, German Township, etc.), a member of the 4-H Council or the 4-H Fair Board, a volunteer working specifically with Juntos 4-H, 4-H Project Discover, Next Chapter 4-H, or any school based/community-based 4-H programs, OR you are a Shooting Sports Coordinator/Instructor/Associate Instructor, you will sign up as a CLUB VOLUNTEER IN ADDITION TO PROJECT VOLUNTEER.
If you volunteer with Spark Club or are a Purdue Extension Employee, you will sign up as a PROGRAM VOLUNTEER IN ADDITION TO PROJECT VOLUNTEER.
