Oppurtunities to get animal tags for all species will be
- March 2nd, 4-6pm - CP
- March 21st, 10am-2pm - Beef Weigh In
- May 2nd, 7-9pm - Goat & Sheep Tagging
- May 4th, 4-6pm - CP
You do NOT need to fill out anything prior to picking up animal tags.
- Born and Raised must be an animal owned (not purchased) since birth and raised under the care of the 4-H member, 4-H parents, aunts, uncles, or grandparents
- Born and Raised must be declared in 4-H Online by May 15th by selecting the county raised box.
- Proof of location of owner and birth must be provided with owner information including name and physical address. Committee verifies the information as needed. (This will be collected via 4-H Online BEFORE Fair).
- There will be a Born and Raised for male and female for each species. For example, pigs will have a Born and Raised Market Gilt and Born and Raised Barrow. For cattle there would be born and raised heifer and born and raised steer.
- The Born and raised animals will be eligible for Grand Champion. This means a champion will be selected and those champions then will be in the grand drive for male and for female.

Mini 4-H (Grades K-2) members that will be exhibiting livestock at the 2026 Dubois County 4-H Fair must complete this waiver. If you have difficulties, paper copy is still accepted.
